Christine Maclin
Executive Director, Lift Every Voice Consulting
Christine Maclin’s journey has been shaped by her early experiences with racism and her desire to drive change within the justice system.
Starting her career in policing, she later transitioned to the Canadian auto sector, inspired by her father’s activism.
Throughout her career, Christine has taken on key leadership roles in unions and human rights organizations, advocating for justice, equity, and anti-racism.
She made history as the first Black woman vice president of her local union and has been recognized as one of Canada’s 100 Most Accomplished Black Women.
Christine’s current work, through her consulting firm Lift Every Voice Consulting, focuses on labour, mediation, and social justice, continuing her lifelong commitment to uplift communities and fight discrimination.

find the path out of poverty.
