We improve lives locally

Women United is an inclusive, vibrant community of change-makers bound together by a sense of belonging – to one another, to our community, and to our mission.

By making a minimum contribution of $1,200 annually to United Way, you can be part of that change. Women United is investing directly in United Way’s On Track to Success program, a youth empowerment strategy that helps young people graduate high school and attend post-secondary or trade education.

Message from the Co-Chairs

As an experienced health professional, I am keenly aware of the challenges facing Windsor-Essex in improving the health and wellbeing of our communities. The On Track to Success (OTTS) program supports education and literacy of our youth- leading to better employment and income, which are two key determinants of health in Canada. As a member of Women United, I know that we truly make a difference for youth health and life achievements.

Virgina Walsh
Women United Co-Chair

As a Women United member, I see first hand how the On Track to Success Program makes a difference in the lives of young people in our community. I am excited to support it as a part of a long-term solution to alleviating poverty.
