A letter from Dora, the 2019 Dinner Anywhere in the World Raffle Winner
The United Way prize was a blessing in our lives. My husband and I decided to go on a Greek Island cruise. We enjoyed every minute of our trip, walking and trying new things at each place, especially typical dishes.
Summary of Raffle Rules (see download pdf for full version)
- Individual must be of 19 years of age or older
- To claim a Prize, the selected entrant must attend, in person, at the offices of United Way Centraide Windsor-Essex, 300 Giles Blvd. E., Windsor, ON
- All prizes must be claimed within six (6) months of the draw date (August 21, 2025)
- The odds of being selected depend on the total number of eligible entries
- Prizes will be drawn in reverse order and tickets will remain eligible for the remaining prizes.
- Prizes are to be accepted as awarded. No cash option will be offered for any of the prizes.
- UWWEC staff, Board members and immediate families of staff and Board members residing in the same household are not eligible to win.
- Once declared the “winner”, he/she may not transfer any or all of the Prize/s won and prizes shall not be used for the purpose of further raffling off or selling for profit.
- Should a selected entrant not accept a prize within six (6) months of the draw date the prize or monies equivalent to the fair market value of the prize will be donated to a beneficiary approved by the licensor.
- UWWEC reserves the right to disqualify any entrant should such an entrant at any stage supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.
- To accept the Prize, the winner must sign a release and waiver agreeing to the use of his/her name, address, photograph, videotape, voice, signature and any likeness for advertising or publicity purposes
- This Raffle is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws of Canada.
- This Raffle is administered by United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County, 300 Giles Blvd. E., Windsor, Ontario N9A 4C4 and regulated under licence from the City of Windsor.
Summary Prize Rules for Grand and Bonus Prize: Dinner for Two Anywhere in the World
- Round trip airfare for two originating from an airport in Ontario with a returning flight to an airport within Ontario.
- All travel arrangements must be made through Valente Travel by September 30, 2025.
- Travel must be completed within 18 months of the draw date, namely August 21, 2026.
