Windsor, ON – United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County is excited to announce its first-ever Together We Dream 50/50 Draw, supporting vulnerable kids in Windsor-Essex County. The Together We Dream 50/50 Draw will raise funds for United Way while giving participants a chance to win big. The online 50/50 draw replaces United Way’s annual Dinner Anywhere in the World Raffle, which was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We really hope the community will have some fun, take a chance, and help support young people in Windsor-Essex who have more limited access to opportunities that can help them build a prosperous future,” says Lorraine Goddard, CEO of United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County.

Proceeds from the draw will be invested into local programs and services including mental health counselling, the Windsor-Essex food bank network, helping family members with a disability, mentoring, online and in-person after school and tutoring programs, high school completion programs, and 211 Information Services.

The guaranteed take home prize is $7,500 but there’s no limit to how big the jackpot can grow. The draw closes on December 17, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be drawn on December 18, 2020 at noon. Half the jackpot will be invested back in the community, and one lucky winner will take home the other half.

Ticket prices are $10 for 10 tickets, $20 for 40, and $40 for 200. To find the raffle rules or enter to win visit
