We work hard to remain accountable to the community through fundraising best practices and transparent reporting. Our fundraising costs are some of the lowest in the sector. In total 74.1 cents of every dollar is invested back into the community.
United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County was one of the first 100 organizations to be accredited by Imagine Canada’s Standards Program. Accreditation is given to charities that demonstrate excellence in five areas, including fundraising and financial transparency.
