Strategy development can involve so many elements – mission, vision, values, guiding principles, internal culture, stakeholder consultation, external trends, situation analysis, governance, setting priority goals, then developing strategies and building capacity to achieve them, not to mention aligning tactics, budgets, operational plans and organizational effort in support of those strategies. Where to start?
Participants in this workshop will:
- Identify the components of the strategic planning process
- Learn how to recognize which elements you should focus on, why and when
- Understand common triggers that lead to weak processes, unfocused direction and poor strategies
- Know the key questions you must address for effective strategy development & tools to help do it
