Let’s face it, there are times when being strong just isn’t enough.  Sometimes you need help.

United Way funds 32 different programs, and works with more than 80 community partners to support those in need.  Our Directory of Programs and Services provides an overview of the programs we invest in to make Windsor a better place to live.  Contact these organizations directly to receive help.

Or, learn more about United Way’s collaborative project – Rebuilding Wheels Rebuilding Lives – which gifts a donated vehicle to those in need for the purposes of finding and maintaining employment.

United Way also supports 211 information services.  211's award-winning telephone helpline (2-1-1) and website provide a gateway to community, social, non-clinical health and related government services. 211 helps to navigate the complex network of human services quickly and easily, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in over 100 languages.

If you still don’t know where to turn, learn more about United Way’s Emergency Assistance Fund.  This is a ‘fund of last resort’ that provides direct support to individuals who qualify.  The fund is administered through Family Services Windsor-Essex.
