Please be advised that United Way’s Windsor office is temporarily closed until further notice. This decision follows the commencement of strike action by staff at Canadian Hearing Services (CHS), with whom we share our building. An active picket line is in place, and in accordance with our Picket Line Policy—and out of respect for the workers involved—United Way staff will not be crossing the picket line.
Effective immediately, Windsor-based staff will be working remotely. They remain fully accessible during regular business hours and will continue to provide support and services without interruption. Please note that this closure does not affect our Chatham-Kent office, which remains open and operating as usual.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we uphold our commitment to respecting workers’ rights and maintaining positive relationships within the labour community. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as needed.
