Windsor, ON – United Way Windsor-Essex Chatham-Kent is proud to release its 2024/25 Annual Impact Report, showcasing the transformative work made possible through the generosity of donors, the dedication of partners, and the efforts of volunteers across Windsor-Essex.
This year, United Way programs reached thousands of local residents, focusing on education, food security, youth development, and neighbourhood empowerment. Key highlights include:
• On Track to Success (OTTS): Providing academic, mental health, social, and financial support to marginalized youth in West Windsor, Downtown Windsor, and Leamington. The program has expanded with On Track On Campus to support students as they transition to post-secondary education.
• Ignite Academy: Supporting children in Grades 2–7 with math and literacy programs, building confidence and school readiness.
• Summer Programs & Food Security Initiatives: Over 45,000 hot lunches served to 1,500 students and thousands of families supported with nutritious food and back-to-school supplies.
• Period Promise: More than 6,000 packages of menstrual products collected, ensuring that no one misses school, work, or daily life due to a lack of essential supplies.
• Neighbourhood Program: Investing in priority neighbourhoods in Downtown Windsor East, West Windsor, and North Leamington to strengthen community connections and improve quality of life.
