Are you passionate about helping children and families reach their potential in Windsor-Essex County? United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County is committed to supporting children and youth from cradle to career, and we are currently recruiting individuals to join our Board of Directors and various Board Committees to support this mission.
United Way’s Board and its committees are governed by dedicated and passionate community leaders from Windsor and Essex County. They provide strategic direction and leadership to United Way, and work together to eliminate childhood poverty in Windsor-Essex County. Diverse voices are critically important to our work. Together, our Board of Directors is intentionally examining barriers to build a more equitable process and board that reflects the communities that we serve.
The Board is seeking various qualified candidates. Given the existing Board complement and existing organizational priorities, we are particularly interested in candidates with experience, expertise and/or connections to the following:
• Information Technology
• Accounting/Finance
• Marketing & Communications
• Fundraising
