Planned Giving Options
There is no minimum amount for a legacy gift, and gifts can be endowed in the form of cash, securities, or other financial instruments, as a one-time gift or in perpetuity.
Endowments are pooled in The Tomorrow Fund™, unless otherwise specified. The Tomorrow Fund™ ensures that United Way is able to make an impact on future generations of people from Windsor and Essex County.
The principal of The Tomorrow Fund™ is invested by United Way, and the interest is used annually to support local programs and services funded by United Way, based on our community investment strategy.
Participation in the Tomorrow Fund™ is easy and flexible with giving options that include:
- Bequest under your will
- Appreciated property and securities
- Charitable gift annuities
- Charitable life insurance
- Charitable remainder trust
- Pooled income fund
- In memoriam gifts
