We are excited to announce the addition of three remarkable leaders to United Way’s Board of Directors: Jeff McFadden, Tracie Booth, and Kyla Tewkesbury. Each brings a wealth of experience, passion, and a deep commitment to serving our community, and we are confident that their leadership will help further our mission to support and uplift those in need across Chatham-Kent.

Her leadership experience and dedication to empowering individuals will be a strong asset to our work.

“I’m excited to contribute to United Way’s efforts to empower individuals and meet the basic needs of our community.”

Jeff McFadden
As President of Unifor Local 127, Jeff has long been an advocate for workers’ rights and positive community change. He is passionate about efforts to support vulnerable populations and ensure that everyone has access to the basic needs they deserve.

“I’m eager to work with United Way to ensure no one in Chatham-Kent goes without the essentials they need to thrive. As we see families struggling to make ends meet more frequently, United Way programs that help families to work their way out of poverty are key.

Kyla Tewkesbury

The Power of Local Representation and Feedback

At United Way, we believe in the power of local representation. Our ability to respond to the unique needs of our community is amplified by having board members who are deeply connected to Chatham-Kent. This ensures that the decisions we make reflect the priorities of residents.

Our board plays a crucial role in guiding our direction and ensuring that we remain focused on the issues that matter most to Chatham-Kent residents. All funds raised in Chatham-Kent stay within Chatham-Kent, directly supporting local programs and initiatives. Every contribution you make is an investment in the future of our community.

We Want Your Feedback!

We’re also committed to hearing from you! To better understand the needs that matter most, we’re inviting residents of Chatham-Kent to share their thoughts through a community consultation survey.

Your feedback will help us shape our future priorities and ensure that our initiatives are aligned with the real needs on the ground.

And as a thank you, by completing the survey, you’ll be entered for a chance to win 1 of 5 $75 gas cards!
