    HR Administrative Assistant

    The Human Resources Administration Assistant plays a key role in supporting HR and governance functions within our not-for-profit environment. This role provides meaningful, hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, volunteer coordination, HR administration, digital HR systems, and policy/governance support. Working closely with the VP, Finance & Operations, the assistant will guided through relevant projects, with regular check-ins, and review of progress. This is a primarily remote position with occasional in-person work.

    Backpacks for Success Program Coordinator

    Reporting to the VP, Programs & Strategic Relations, the Backpacks for Success Program Coordinator supports the implementation of United Way’s summer poverty-reduction initiatives, including, but not limited to, the Backpack for Success program, which delivers essential school supplies to over 2,000 children and youth across Windsor-Essex County. The Program Coordinator plays a key role in organizing and delivering community-based efforts that ensure children and youth have access to critical supports throughout the summer months.

    Summer Eats Program Coordinator

    Reporting to the VP, Program and Strategic Relations, the Summer Eats Program Coordinator is responsible for the operation and implementation of the Summer Eats for Kids Program. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating with youth program providers, schools, and other social service agencies to ensure over 500 families are fed weekly over the summer. The Program Coordinator will support the recruitment and oversight of program volunteers. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for the tracking of program statistics and the implementation of the evaluation framework to measure outcomes of the program.

    Summer Eats Program Assistant

    Reporting to the VP, Programs & Strategic Relations, and directed by the Summer Eats Program Coordinator, the Summer Eats Program Assistant is responsible for supporting the operation and implementation of the Summer Eats program. The Assistant will support the Program Coordinator with food packaging and delivery to ensure over 500 bags of food are delivered per week across Windsor-Essex County. The Assistant is responsible for assisting with the coordination of approximately 15 volunteers per week.
