Our Commitment to You
We work hard to remain accountable to the community through fundraising best practise and transparent reporting. Our fundraising costs are some of the lowest in the sector. In total 80.1 cents of every dollar is invested back into the community.
United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County was one of the first organizations to be accredited by Imagine Canada’s Standards Program. Accreditation is given to charities that demonstrate excellence in five areas, including fundraising and financial transparency.
The financial statements below are prepared in compliance with Canadian Accounting Standards, audited by KPMG LLP and have been presented at our annual general meetings. Simplified information is presented in the Summary Financial Statements.
