The Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge, ChangeTheWorld, is a province-wide strategy of the Ministry of Citizenship & Immigration and the Ontario Volunteer Centre Network to encourage youth to volunteer in their communities.

#GetInvolved to receive volunteer service hours and help feed people in Windsor-Essex County by preparing Community Gardens!

  • Have an opportunity to increase your knowledge about the importance of food security in Windsor-Essex County
  • Develop an understanding of local social issues and community resources while working with partner organizations
  • Participate in an activity that will have a positive and lasting impact on the quality of life for residents in Windsor-Essex County
  • Receive four hours towards your community service hours

What is ChangeTheWorld?

The ChangeTheWorld – Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge is an annual campaign for youth aged 14 to 18 to volunteer a minimum of three hours. In 2016, the campaign runs for 6 weeks and kicks off during National Volunteer Week (April 23 - 29) through to June 5.
