As dedicated long time donors of United Way, Debbie and David Meloche believe that no matter how you choose to be remembered, it is important to leave lasting footprints.
"It's a great feeling," Debbie says. "Our support of The Tomorrow Fund is our way of showing just how important the United Way is not only for today, but for future generations."
As a Tax Partner at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Debbie knew the Tomorrow Fund would become a great source of revenue and stability for United Way in the future.
"I am really excited about the new direction United Way is developing with the focus on community priorities. I know that a gift to United Way's Tomorrow Fund will ensure future needs in our community will be addressed."
With a call to their lawyer and a simple revision in their will, the Meloche's allocated a portion of their final assets to the Tomorrow Fund, adding their name as members of the Legacy Circle. Debbie says it's a good feeling knowing their gift to the Tomorrow Fund will continue influencing quality of life for future generations and stand as a permanent legacy for a lifelong commitment to the city. "I think it's something every community member should consider, particularly those that have been involved with United Way. I hope more people keep United Way in mind when planning their estate."
