An important role of United Way/Centraide is linking individuals and organizations in the voluntary sector to the resources they require to respond to community needs. The Gifts in Kind program is an example of how the United Way/Centraide assists voluntary sector organizations in Windsor-Essex County.
If a company or individual wishes to donate items such as office supplies, furniture, computer software, or services, the United Way/Centraide helps match the donor/donation with a voluntary sector organization in need of the resource.
