Help Change a Life
LEAD UNITED

Leadership Giving

Our community is, in many ways, at a crossroads. Depending on our collective response, we can soar as a community or we can falter. Recent hardships in Windsor-based industries have created more need than ever at a time when many are experiencing shortfalls.

We are asking people in Windsor to share their own good fortune and impact our community positively. To meet this need we are asking United Way supporters to consider increasing their gift to the United Way by becoming a Leader of the Way with a gift of $1000 or more.

The impact of a $1000 donation is significant.
  • Nutritious snacks for the 690 children participating in after-school programs
  • Exercise equipment for the 539 older adults participating in health and fitness classes
  • Transportation incentives for 30 families to be able to participate in the Strengthening Families program
  • Kitchen equipment and supplies for community kitchens and cooking classes as part of the Food Security strategy
  • Training supplies for educational workshops delivered to 515 family members of a person with a disability
Leadership Giving Campaign

A Leadership Giving Campaign adds a new facet to your Workplace Campaign. A Leadership Campaign Coordinator is chosen by the President or CEO to run this important campaign above and beyond the regular Workplace Campaign. The Leadership Campaign Coordinator is a person who is a Leader not only in the community, but in the workplace as well.

As the Leadership Campaign Coordinator, you are responsible for seeking a higher level of commitment from your peers and co-workers. United Way Fund Development Managers are there to guide the Coordinator with their task and ensure that they have the tools necessary to campaign potential Leadership givers in their company.
