United Way / Centraide Windsor-Essex County presented campaign awards on February 7th to workplaces that demonstrated through the 2007 Campaign that they truly believe in their community.

The "I Believe in My Community Awards" held at the Caboto Club and hosted by Cam Gardiner and Heather Douglas, recognized the outstanding commitment of Windsor and Essex County organizations and their participation in the United Way Campaign.

Adrian Vido, incoming Board Chair of United Way thanked the award recipients and all of the Campaign workers in attendance saying, "Now, it's time to put the results of all your work to work. You can be assured that the money raised will be invested in areas making a measurable impact in our community. Programs and services that could not be effectively delivered if not for your time, effort, and commitment!"
